traffic has been very bad when heading out west over the memorial bridge which is 17,74-76 down to one lane at about 8 pm the last couple nights for road work thanks again islandike

Start the new year
Well I will tell you one thing about Carolina Beach is they seem to have the best festivities year round from Carolina Beach to Kure Beach each year they switch from town to town for fireworks display during new years and they really go all out and the restaurant's and bar's all have great food and atmosphere. Then when spring comes along they have several festivals from cook offs to to art shows. The best thing I liked is it is all family oriented, in the park they have a blown up projector screen and show movie's and there are several hotels to stay at and you can also find houses for rent right on the beach.
