memorial day weekend 2012

Hi Islandike here,it's been awhile well memorial day weekend is a couple days away and it's going to be a gorgeous weekend weather wise.Pleasure Island has all it;s rides set up and on the boardwalk which is carolina beach ,nc for those who have never been here.All hotels are reasonably priced.You really don't have to leave the Island has everything you need from hotels to restaurants,bars and clubs and a couple grocery stores.Well there are so many other places to visit here from downtown to wrightsville beach and skate parks,they have one on the Island.Thanks again from Islandike and please click follow me on my page would be greatly appreciated.Enjoy the surf and be safe in the ocean and please comply with the life guards because there out there for you and it's a lot harder than it looks thanks again. enjoy mikefromcb.And remember to give thanks to all in the past and present for protecting our great country.

Start the new year

 Well I will tell you one thing about Carolina Beach is they seem to have the best festivities year round from Carolina Beach to Kure Beach each year they switch from town to town for fireworks display during new years and they really go all out and the restaurant's and bar's all have great food and atmosphere. Then when spring comes along they have several festivals from cook offs to to art shows. The best thing I liked is it is all family oriented, in the park they have a blown up projector screen and show movie's and there are several hotels to stay at and you can also find houses for rent right on the beach.
