Well If you live here or visit it's just like most tourist towns but this one's extra special it don't matter if you have a car if you stay on carolina beach also known as pleasure island you can just about walk any where,to the beach or to the lake to watch a outside movie.On thursday nights they have fireworks like its 4th of july all over again.But the best part is the north end of carolina beach they have a place where you can drive on the beach,camp out,and I think you can still have your pets out there to.But you better have an awesome 4 wheel drive,because that sand is deep but I haven't been out there in about 2yrs now.Oh and you can have camp fire's which I think that the only place this year that you can.Well thats just one spot I will tell you about the awesome water park on my next blog.And about downtown and the trolley horse powered with real horses.Well if your coming from tennessee just follow I-40 east till it almost dead ends. Well I will tell you one thing about Carolina Beach is they seem to have the best festivities year round from Carolina Beach to Kure Beach each year they switch from town to town for fireworks display during new years and they really go all out and the restaurant's and bar's all have great food and atmosphere. Then when spring comes along they have several festivals from cook offs to to art shows. The best thing I liked is it is all family oriented, in the park they have a blown up projector screen and show movie's and there are several hotels to stay at and you can also find houses for rent right on the beach.
